Youtube has just added a new option for privacy settings for all videos uploaded to Youtube. The new option lies between "Public" and "Private". A public video is one that anybody can see, search for, and link to. A private video is one that cannot be found on the search engines and one that can only be accessed by predetermined Youtube users. The new option, unlisted, means that a video cannot be found on a search engine or by searching youtube but anybody can access it if they go directly to the page. This is super useful for people or businesses who are using Youtube to share videos with coworkers, clients, or customers. You can upload a video, send the link to everyone, post the link on your free website or blog, embed the video, and it will still only be viewed by the people you are specifically targeting.
