Now you can put icons on your website with WebStarts. The new icon feature let's you choose from hundreds of icons that can be placed on your webpages. In the past you may have had to upload icon images to get them to appear on your pages but with the new icon feature from WebStarts your icons are created as vectors. That means you can resize them however you'd like and they will never lose quality, and always look sharp.

With so many icon choices you'll never have to upload an icon to your website again. You can choose from social icons to fun things like icons that represent holidays and sports.

To add an icon to your website load the WebStarts page editor and click the add icon from the sidebar. Find "Icon" in the list and click on it. You will then see all the great looking icons you can choose from. Click to insert one on to your page. From there you can place the icon where you'd like it to appear. Use the handles that appear while the icon is selected to resize it.

You can even add hover colors to your icon. With the icon selected click on the color fill tool. There you will see a variety of options for coloring your icons. Choose a "Hover Color" and it will be applied to your icon.

To change the style of your icons click on the attached paint brush icon while the icon is selected. This will let you choose to apply a couple of different  looks to your icons.

Icons are a great way to  give your website a modern look and feel. They're also a great alternative to images since the small file sizes will ensure your webpages load fast regardless of your internet connection. Stay tuned to WebStarts as we release even more new features in the weeks to come.
