At WebStarts we realize having a contact form on your website is a critical part of your business. Unfortunately forms are often the target of spammers. Spammers and hackers will often use software called "bots" to try and get information from your website by submitting data through forms on your website. If you've ever been targeted by one of these bots then you've probably noticed hundreds of form submissions filling up your inbox with garble text, code, etc.
Fortunately our latest feature solves this problem. You can now add CAPTCHA to your forms with the WebStarts form builder application. CAPTCHA is the funny looking letters and numbers you have to enter to submit a form online. The idea behind CAPTCHA is to prevent these bots from submitting to your form by requiring an entry that can only be interpreted by the human eye.
To enable CAPTCHA on your WebStarts forms login to your WebStarts account and choose to edit the page where you'd like to add a form. Next you'll click on the "Apps" tab from the toolbar and choose form builder from the Apps Panel. Add the fields you'd like to be displayed in your form. When you're ready to enable CAPTCHA go to the Form Settings tab and check the box marked "Enable CAPTCHA". After CAPTCHA is enabled click "Insert Form" to add the form to your page.
