Now you can easily add an Instagram feed to your website with Instagram for WebStarts. Instagram is the world's most popular photo sharing app for iPhone and Android. Instagram can help the most novice photographer take great looking photos with it's variety of filters and effects. Instagram from WebStarts let's you take photos directly from Instagram and displays them on your website. This is a terrific way to keep your website constantly updated when you're on the go. All you do is snap and post a photo using Instagram and the feed on your website will be automatically updated.
Here's how you can add an Instagram feed to your website using WebStarts.
Step 1_ Make sure you have an Instagram account. If you don't already have one you can get one by installing the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device. You'll be able to find it in the App Store or Google Play.
Step 2_ Login to your WebStarts account and click on "Edit Site" and choose the page you'd like to add the Instagram feed to from the page editor drop down. (You can click here to sign up for a free website with WebStarts)
Step 3_ Click on Apps from the toolbar and then click the Instagram for WebStarts app icon. The first time you open the app you'll need to click on the "Authorize" button. This will authorize WebStarts to connect with your Instagram account and retrieve your posts.
Step 4_ Choose the type of Instagram feed you'd like on your page. You can choose to retrieve posts from your personal Instagram account, a public Instagram username, or by using a hashtag.
Step 5_ Choose the options for how you'd like the feed to be displayed. For instance you can choose to display photos in a gallery view, slideshow, or collage. You can also choose things like the number of posts you'd like displayed, and the type of transitions between them.
Step 6_ Click the "Insert" button and then drag and drop where you'd like your Instagram feed to appear.
