In case you didn't already know the much publicized iPhone 5 is scheduled to be announced later this week. Apple has sent out invitations for a special event where they're expected to announce the iPhone 5. The event is scheduled for September 12th.  Apple says they'll show off a killer function of the new iPhone 5 at the event. The new iPhone 5 is expected to boast a larger screen as well as support for 4G LTE networks. This would make the iPhone 5 compatible with the latest wireless technology offered from the biggest carriers. The bandwidth boost is expected to give the iPhone 5 faster web browsing, streaming video, and more.

Despite Tim Cook announcing Apple would "double down" on efforts to maintain secrecy about new products some photos of the new iPhone 5 appear to be leaked on the internet. There are several still images which appear to have leaked from manufacturers in China as well as Youtube videos. Whatever the case the world will be watching come this Wednesday.
