Now that you have begun to build a website or a business, you are going to want to stay connected on the web. One way to do that is through various social networking websites. I'm sure you've heard that you need a facebook profile and a twitter profile but I'm telling you that you should have a Google+ Profile as well. Until now, Google+ was only available to individual Google users. Now, Google wants us to stay connected with businesses and websites as well. I'm going to show you how to create an account and how to promote your business.

Step 1_ Follow this link_ https://plus.google.com/pages/create

Step 2_ Click 'Sign In' to sign in with an existing Google account. You can create a new one if you'd like but I'm assuming you already have a Google account.

Step 3_ Choose a First Name and Last Name. Then click 'Join'.

Step 4_ Follow or skip the initial setup steps to add friends to your google+ account.

Step 5_ When you get to the 'Create a Page' section, choose a category for your business. Google+ will allow you to find your business on a map, enter your web address, or even create a new listing for your business. Click 'Create' when you're done.

Step 6_ Customize your profile. I won't go into too much detail because you can do a lot with your profile but at this point, you have a Google+ page and you are ready to connect with the world and begin advertising your business on Google+.
