Facebook is a great place to promote your website. However, if you've ever shared a link on the social network you've probably noticed the thumbnail that appears as a preview to your website. The image Facebook chooses to display is not necessarily the image that will get the most clicks. To ensure you get the most people possible clicking through the links you share on Facebook try customizing the image thumbnail by following these steps.
Step 1. Login to your WebStarts account and choose the page you'd like to edit.
Step 2. From the page editor click on File> Page Settings> Upload Site Thumbnail.
Step 3. Click the "Choose File" button and then choose the image thumbnail you'd like to be displayed when a link to that page is shared from your local computer.
Step 4. Save the changes to your page and be sure to share your link on Facebook and across all social media websites.
