Yesterday Facebook released a new feature that will allow you to put a public Facebook post onto your WebStarts website by using an embed code. Now you can share those precious news stories that show up in your daily feed with the rest of the world directly from your website. Here's how you do it.

Step 1_

Find a public Facebook post in your news feed you want to share on your website. You can determine whether a post allows embedding by clicking on the little arrow in the top right of each post. If you see the option to embed the post it can be added to your website.

Step 2_

Click on "Embed Post" from the drop down menu. A dialog box will appear with the embed code highlighted. Copy the code to your clipboard by right clicking and choosing "copy".

Step 3_

Login to your WebStarts account and choose to edit the page where you'd like the post to appear. Click on the "Insert > HTML" option from the toolbar at the top of the page and paste the code into the area provided by right clicking and choosing the past option. Click "Ok" and your post will appear on your page. You can then drag and drop it exactly where you'd like it to appear.
