How To Create A Landing Page Using WebStarts

One of the most effective things you can do for your online marketing efforts is create a landing page. Landing pages are web pages you send people to from advertisements. The goal of a landing page should be to gather contact information from your visitor. People are 70% more likely to do business with you if you follow up with them and in order to follow up you have to have contact information. Creating a landing page with WebStarts is easy. All you need to do is follow these steps.

Step 1. Create a WebStarts account and choose a design.  You can easily create a WebStarts account in a matter of a few minutes and no matter which design you choose you'll be able to customize it into a terrific landing page that starts generating online leads for your business.

Step 2. Now that you've signed up and chosen a design you'll want to customize the homepage. To do that click on the "Edit Site" icon in the dashboard view. This will load up the WebStarts page editor where you can drag and drop objects all over you page and make it look just the way you like.

Step 3. Add a headline that's easy for everyone to understand. For example_ If you're selling Blue Widgets make a headline that says something like. "The best place to buy Blue Widgets online". The average person will only give it a few seconds to make sure they're on a relevant page before they click the dreaded back button.

Step 4. Add some bullet points about your products or services. To come up with some great bullet points ask yourself what type of benefits your customers receive when they buy from you.

Step 5. Place a form on the page that asks for their contact information in exchange for something of high perceived value. This can be as easy as offering a discount, a free trial, or sample. The key here is to remember the higher perceived value the more information the visitor is going to be willing to enter into your form.

Now that you've created a powerful landing page that gives people a good reason to submit their contact information it's important you use that information to follow up. Remember people who follow up are the one's who ultimately get the sale.
