Today I'm going to show you on how to create your own custom flash intro or flash banner for free using a service called BannerSnack. Flash is a great technology that allows web designers to embed custom made slideshows, banners, moving text, and interactive "movies" onto their website. Using a flash intro or flash banner will give your website an eye catching intro and is sure to impress your customers or your friends.

Follow these steps to add a free flash banner or flash intro to your site using BannerSnack_

Step 1. Go to www.bannersnack.com and create an account. You can register with their website or you can use your Facebook login information.

Step 2. Click "create new banner" and choose the size of your flash banner.

Step 3. Add Images, text, or buttons to the first slide and add additional slides as desired. The slides are organized in a line at the bottom of your screen much like Microsoft Powerpoint slides are arranged.

Step 4. Click the save button, then choose save and publish.

Step 5. You will see "Publish complete. Download or get the banner's embed code here". You will need to click the "here" to get the embed code for your flash banner.

Step 6. Click the "embed code" icon and copy the HTML code that comes up.

Step 7. In your webstarts site, click Insert, HTML and paste the HTML code into your site.
