How To Add Video Games To Your Website

One of the biggest challenges when making a website is creating a user experience where people keep coming back to your website. One way to make your website fun and entertaining and keep people coming back is to add video games to your website. Video games have a wildly large following and are sure to keep your website visitors coming back to your site time and time again. Here's how you can add video games to your website using WebStarts and a service called MiniClip.com. MiniClip is a website that features a ton of fun little games that can be added to your WebStarts website in just a few steps. Step 1. You'll need to create a WebStarts.com account. You can create a free website with WebStarts by clicking on this link. WebStarts is everything you need to build and maintain your own website. WebStarts provides your hosting, domain name, and web design tools all in one location and they're super easy to use. Once you've created a WebStarts account you'll need to login and choose to edit the page where you'd like your video game to appear. Step 2. Now that you've created a website with WebStarts it's time to go over to MiniClip.com. When you get to the MiniClip homepage you'll want to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the link that says "Webmasters". This will take you to a page with a list of games that can be embedded onto your website. Step 3. Right click in the area to the right of the game you want to add to your website and choose the copy function. This will save the video game embed code to your clipboard. You're now ready to move the code onto your website. Step 4. Moving back over to your website editor click on the insert tab from the toolbar on the top of the page. Choose the option to insert HTML code and then paste the code in the area provided and click "Ok". Great! your video game should now appear in your website editor. You can resize the video game to display properly by clicking on your game and dragging the handles. You can also drag and drop the game where you would like it to appear on your website. By following these few simple steps it's easy to add video games to your website. So go ahead and get creative. One thing I do want to warn you against is putting too many games on each page. Most of these video games are in flash and so putting too many video games on the same page can bog down your computer.
