It tackles a long accepted Proctor & Gamble term dubbed FMoT or "First Moment of Truth". The traditional idea being that a consumer will see an advertisement for a product but that "First Moment of Truth" occurs when a customer sees a product on a store shelf and decided whether or not to make the purchase. Google call the new buying experience where consumers are likely to do online research about a product prior to ever seeing it on a store shelf as the "Zero Moment of Truth" or ZMoT.
