I recently stumbled across a photo slideshow tool called Slide.ly. Slide.ly is a clever photo sharing tools that let's you easily link your Facebook, Instagram, and other photos to your Slide.ly account to create great looking slideshows and photo galleries. You can even add a music track from Youtube to play while your photos are being displayed. Here's how you can create a photo slideshow with Slide.ly and then share it on your WebStarts website using the HTML app.

Step 1. The first thing you'll need to do is go to http_//slide.ly and create an account. The easiest way to create an account is by signing up with Facebook connect.

Step 2. Once you have your account you'll be able to link your Slide.ly account with other cloud services like Instagram and Dropbox. This is convenient because you can add those photos to your slideshow or photo gallery without having to download them and re-upload them to Slide.ly.

Step 3. Now that you've linked all the appropriate places you store photos online it's time to start selecting the photos you want to share. Click on each photo you'd like to appear in the slideshow or photo gallery.

Step 4. With your photos selected it's time to add some music. Slide.ly let's you use any music from Youtube as your background music. All you need to do is search Youtube for your favorite music video or really any video where a song plays in the background. Whatever you select will end up playing in the background while your photos are displayed. After you choose the music you want to play click next and proceed to the final step.

Step 5. Your slideshow or photo gallery has been created. Now it's time to add it to your website. To do this click the share icon in the upper left hand corner then click on the embed icon. It's the green icon all the way to the right that looks something like this <>

Step 6. Login to your WebStarts account and choose to edit the page where you'd like to display your photos. Once the editor loads click on File> HTML Code. Paste the code in the area provided and then drag your photo gallery where you'd like it to appear. Save your changes and you'll be able to view the slideshow on your live web page.
