WebStarts is by far the most feature loaded website builder out there. In fact, there are so many features we noticed a lot of our clients don't even know they're available. Today I'd like to highlight 5 powerful features of WebStarts that you probably didn't even know were available.
1. Members
There are no other website builders who offer a membership feature. Our membership feature allows you to have a sign up and login on whichever pages you wish. You can access the membership feature when you have a Pro Plus account. Visitors to your website will be able to sign up and create a username and password then come back and login to your site. This allows you to keep certain portions of your website "members only". You can access the feature by logging into your account and click Apps>Mebership Tool. You can manage the usernames, passwords, and approve or block members by clicking on the Members tab in the dashboard view.
2. Sell Products
Sell products allows you to easily make any website into a fully functional ecommerce store. You can create products for sale with images and buy buttons. Those product widgets can be placed anywhere you'd like them to appear on your page. You can accept payments via PayPal for now but we're about to launch a new and better way to take payments. You'll want to stay tuned for that. You can access the ecommerce application by click "Apps" and "Sell Products".
3. Facebook Images
You can access all the photos you've uploaded to Facebook and place them anywhere you'd like on your website built in Webstarts. All you need to do is click on the insert image icon. This will display what we call the file manager. In the file manager click on the tab labeled "Facebook Images". Click on the button to connect your Facebook account. Once you've logged into Facebook your images and albums will populate in the file manager. You can then click on the image you want to add to your page.
4. Change Default Fonts and Hyperlinks
With WebStarts you can control the default font style, color, size, etc. This way when you add text to a page it will alredy be displayed how you'd like it to appear. You'll be able to save the step of applying the correct style to each new text box you add to a page. This works in the same way with hyperlinks. You can set the default appearance of your text and hyperlinks by clicking on "Format" in the page editor and choosing either "Deafault Font" or "Default Link" from the drop down menu.
5. Profile
Under the instert tab in the page editor you'll find the "Profile" option. This widget will let you add a personal profile to any of your webpages with a small profile pick. This is a great feature to have on an about us page or anywhere you want to convey a personal profile across your website.
