10 WebStarts Apps You Didn't Even Know About

10 Apps
WebStarts is by far the most feature rich website builder. In fact, one of the biggest challenges we face at WebStarts is helping people know about all the great built-in apps we offer at no additional charge. So today I'm going to share 10 WebStarts apps you didn't even know about.

1. Calendar

Whether you're a business, group, individual, or organization, there's a good chance you need a calendar on your website. A public calendar can help you convey important dates and events with your website patrons. The calendar app from WebStarts is not only customizable, but it also integrates with your Google username so you can create and share events from your mobile phone using Google Calendar. Since Google Calendar syncs with Apple and Outlook, you can literally manage the calendar on your website from any device.

2. Maps

If you're a business, it's important people are able to find you. With the Google Maps app for WebStarts you can add a custom map directly to your website. It even has an option for you to create a route with directions. Let's say for example people want to know how to get to you from downtown. Setup your starting point, enter your address, and the app will provide a route you can display on your website. You'll never have to give directions over the phone again.

3. Selfies

One of the many fun apps built into WebStarts is the selfie app. When you open the selfie app, it activates your webcam which allows you to take a photo booth like snapshot. You can even draw funny faces, add notes, or effects to the photo before adding it to your website. It's perfect when you need to take a quick profile pic for your site.

4. Social Bar

If you want your site to be shared on social media don't you? With the WebStarts Social Bar app you can quickly and easily create links to all your favorite social media platforms. You can even create a link that launches the dial pad on someone's cell phone when clicked. Just choose your favorite social media accounts and enter the links in the fields provided. Don't forget to style and color your social media icons before publishing your page.

5. Iframe Embeds

There are so many different things people want to put on their site. It's impossible to provide custom interfaces for them all. In fact, sometimes there are great tools online that simply don't provide a way to integrate with other apps. For all of these situations we created the Iframe Embed App. It lets you frame webpages directly into your site. For example, if you're a realtor and you want to add a simple home search to your site, you'd enter your IDX URL directly into the app and that search function will embed directly into your page.

6. Wordpress

Everyday we hear from people who created blogs in Wordpress and find it to be too complicated to customize. That's why we made a simple app that will let you drop your Wordpress blog directly on to a page you've created in WebStarts. This gives you the ability to customize your site around that Wordpress content in a non-technical way.

7. Document Embeds

A big advantage of having a website is the ability to share information quickly. Many businesses have forms, contracts, and other documents they need to put into the hands of their customers. The Document Embed App makes that process simple. Just upload your files and embed them where you'd like them to appear on your site. People can then display them or print them with a single click.

8. Payment Enabled Forms

WebStarts has one of the most full featured Form Builder Apps online. It's perfect for capturing leads, but did you know you can also process custom orders and capture payments? When creating a form be sure to add a payment enabled field. This will give you the ability to capture all the form data you need along with a payment for goods or services. This is perfect for custom orders and donations.

9. Music Store

Whether you're a band, podcaster, or just an audiofile, you'll love the WebStarts Music Store App. The Music Store lets you upload and sell your audio files. You can enter your album name, song name, details, set prices, allow for digital downloads, and even upload your own cover art. The Music Store will also let your customers listen to short samples of your music before completing their purchase.

10. Youtube

Videos are all the rage on the web. With the Youtube app it's simple to add a Youtube video to your website. You can search Youtube by your channel name or keywords. When you find the video you'd like to display on your page you can customize the player to match the look and feel of your website. That's a feature you won't find on Youtube itself.

If these features sound good to you this will sound even better. You can sign up and create a free website at WebStarts.com and get access to all of these right way.
